An inquiry-based activity for constructing a plant cell. The aim of this learning object is to familiarize users with the main organelles of a plant cell. More specifically, the learning object allows users to view 3D visualizations of individual organelles from plant and animal cells, study their structure by rotating them, and learn about their functions. Users can then select the necessary organelles to assemble a 3D model of a plant cell.
