Explore.org is the world's leading philanthropic live nature cam network and documentary film channel. Εxplore.org, the online portal for explore, is a community destination where people share thoughts, engage in dialogue, view and email films and photographs, and embed their favorites on blogs and social networking sites. Located near the Tayna Nature Reserve in the Democratic Republic of Congo is the Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education Center (or GRACE). GRACE is the world's only sanctuary that rehabilitates orphaned Grauer's gorillas, a critically endangered great ape that is threatened by illegal hunting. All gorillas at GRACE were captured from the wild by poachers then rescued by Congo's wildlife authority. The goal is to reintroduce them back into the wild. This live gorilla cam is located near a corridor which connects the gorillas' night quarters with the DRC forest habitat at GRACE, where the gorillas practice skills needed, such as foraging and nest building. The camera records the Grauer's gorillas as they come and go from the forest, graze on vegetation, rest or even make a nest for their overnight slumber.
