DESCRIPTION
There are 5 pictures of people who were passengers of the Titanic, women among them. Grammatically, the aim of this activity is to let students guess who these people were by using the simple past of the verb "to be". Historically, it is interesting for anyone to see real photos of people of that time and find out how women were employed on the ship. The aim is to capture the students' interest and imagination and let them practise speaking English through meaningful for them context. For more pictures on the subject, visit the "Linney Learning Object Repository".
