The children of a summer camp had no choice if they wanted water but to transport it uphill and walk back to the camp with it from the stream below, or have it brought from a truck. Eventually they decided to use a machine called a "Pump Ram", which is able to push water upwards with the use of no other energy other than that of the flow of the water itself.
